Rules To Naming Your Team

Our quiz nights are aimed to be fun, but as we are a responsible company, we have a duty to other customers and the venue management to ensure that team names follow a certain guideline.

Firstly the big no no , is anything which can be classed as abusive, swearing, discriminative, racist or any other name which the quiz hosts decides could cause offence.

Secondly - no tongue twisters, the quiz hosts are not there to be tested, that's your job, we ask the questions, you answer and win ... so if you put a tongue twister expect it to be changed to 'team no X'

Thirdly - Due to our computer system which marks the quizzes, the maximum number of characters is 50, so please keep within that limit. Abbreviate where possible.

And remember as a general rule you can change your team name as many times as you want, it is the team no which stays the same, and is what is marked on the league.

Finally if you choose a team name that already belongs to an existing team at the venue, we will add a number to the end of it. Example Loser 2, Loser 3 etc...
